The half roll according to Klein is used as part of support and free positioning. The wedge according to Klein is used for micro-positioning to achieve the smallest shifts in the center of gravity in the person being cared for. The wedge is particularly useful for supporting mobile body parts, e.g. at the hip or shoulder. In this way, micro-movements of the body are imitated, which can help relieve pressure. This form of positioning promotes the independent movement of the person being cared for and improves body awareness. The half roll and the wedge are both boil-washable.
