Rhombo-therm® is a special, patented punching technique for polyurethane foams. It has been proven to increase the adaptability, and therefore the point elasticity, of the foam, allowing it to conform softly to body contours.

Rhombo-therm® gives foams an unusually good pressure distribution while also improving ventilation. Heat exchange and moisture balance are also tailored to the needs of each body zone, meaning warmer body zones are ventilated more intensively than cooler zones. This is unique and ensures a healthy, dry microclimate for a pleasant feeling of wellbeing.

In addition, the punching prevents the formation of seat and lying depressions, thereby increasing the service life.

More heat develops in heavier body areas than in others. With Rhombo-therm®, the perforations expand with increasing pressure load, providing a more intensive heat exchange than in less loaded areas.

The Rhombo-therm® overlay reduces the body's contact pressure through excellent surface-wide pressure distribution. The skin remains well supplied with blood, as no excessive pressure acts on it. The contact between the surface and the body resting on it is completely seamless, allowing a permanent exchange of heat and moisture to take place; cold bridges do not occur.
